Mr. A spent his early childhood in Mihara before moving to Innoshima.After enrolling at the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) Yuge College, he thought about a career in the shipping industry, but after meeting Takamatsu Kensetsu Managing Director, Keishi Takahashi, he was so impressed he decided to enter the company.
He has acquired qualifications in gas cutting, welding, obtained licenses for heavy machinery and large vehicles, and currently heads a team of six to seven staff. He oversees construction work within the shipyard, such as keel block manufacturing and duct replacement, and leads projects that require high precision with a tolerance of 1 millimeter.‘
I enjoy creating things that take shape,’ says Mr. A. Every morning, he briefs each staff member on the day’s tasks, shares a philosophy based on "safety first" and passes on his own experience to nurture younger employees.
