Surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea's calm waters and possessing a long history of shipbuilding, Innoshima is the ideal environment for building ships. The island also experiences very few natural disasters such as typhoons and benefits from plenty of sunshine and low rainfall.

A large number of companies possessing advanced shipbuilding technologies are located on Innoshima. Technologies include those used to craft steel plates for ship hulls and precision components used in ship assembly. The area is also home to production facilities belonging to Japan’s leading shipbuilders, making this region a highly attractive place to work.

There will always be work available,
as long as there are shipyards.

With the creation of larger ships, the continued demand for ship repairs and the modernization of production facilities, there will always be work for Takamatsu Kensetsu as long as shipyards continue to exist. Innoshima's strength lies in the fact that there will always be work available as long as the island has shipyards.
